Nationwide Jobs Fair ng DoLE, ikakasa sa Mayo 1

Ilulunsad bukas ng Department of Labor and Employment ang sabayang nationwide Jobs Fair bilang paggunita sa Labor day.
Ayon kay Labor Sec. Marianito Roque - sabayang ilulunsad ang mga GMA Jobs Center, isang information machine na naglalaman ng mga in-demand job opportunities.
Inaasaang makapagbibigay ng linu-libong trabaho sa loob at labas ng bansa sa mga dadalo ang Jobs Fair na ito sa World Trade Center sa Pasay City mula sa mahigit 100 employers at tatlumpung licensed Recruitment Agencies na lalahok.
Bukod sa NCR, magkakaroon din ng Job fair sa CAR, Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, Western Central at Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao, Soccksargen at CARAGA. news.UNTVweb.com

Umento sa sahod ng mga manggagawa sa Calabarzon, malabo pang maipatupad

Nakatakda nang ipatupad sa susunod na dalawang buwan ang umento sa sahod sa rehiyon ng Calabarzon ayon sa Regional Tripartite Wage Regulatory Board sa Region 4-A.
Gayunmang, depende pa rin kung magkano ang itataas nito batay sa isasagawang konsultasyon sa mga manggagawa at employers.
UNTV 37 offers P1-million-reward for conviction of TV host killers

UNTV 37 has offered a P1-M reward for the speedy arrest of the killers of Marcos Mataro, one of the hosts of D’ Ex-Man program.
UNTV Station Manager Jay Sonza confirmed that sponsors, sympathizers, friends and kind souls raised the amount to speed up the probe of the broad daylight murder of Mataro, a former Iglesia Ni Cristo minister who joined the Ang Dating Daan.
Earlier, UNTV management appealed to PNP Chief Dir. Gen. Avelino Razon Jr. and PNP Region 3 Chief Director Errol Pan for a speedy resolution of the case.
Mataro was mercilessly gunned down by two unidentified gunmen yesterday morning while waiting for a ride near the San Simon exit, San Simon, Pampanga. Mataro sustained six gunshot wounds in the eye, forehead, neck and chest from a 9-mm pistol. [Press Release]
